ANGELA PRIDER, HHP
Angela Prider's shamanic gifts have been strengthened over the last 15 years through a combination of practice and extensive training. Her teachers include Laureen Rama, trained by Sandra Ingerman, Betsy Bergstrom, and nagual, dona Bernadette Vigil, author of "The Mastery of Awareness", and longtime associate of don Miguel Ruiz. Her training in Core Shamanism is from the Foundation of Shamanic Studies.
Angela has completed training in shamanic healing techniques including: soul retrieval, extraction, psychopomp, depossession, curse unraveling and space clearing. Along with her studies in psychology, she has completed practical and theoretical counselling certification, as well as training in Self-Regulation Therapy® from the Canadian Foundation for Trauma
Research and Education. With over ten years experience working as a counsellor treating issues related to substance abuse and trauma, Angela now has a full-time private practise where she specializes in the spiritual recovery from trauma by synthesizing shamanic healing methods and SRT. Angela also teaches a variety of courses on shamanism, ranging from
introductory to 2-year apprenticeships. She is the co-owner of HeartQuest Holistic Wellness Centre in Vancouver and is a member the Association of Holistic Practitioners, Health Action Network, and the Canadian Research Institute of Spirituality & Healing.
