She is a caring shamanic practitioner, and healer, Reiki master, ceremonialist, numerologist and workshop facilitator based in metro Detroit, Michigan. FOLLOW YOUR HEART uses a spectrum of compassionate, holistic healing and self awareness techniques: Shamanism, Reiki, Numerology, Creative Self-Expression, Nature Awareness (herbs and homeopathy) and Ceremony. ________________________________________ I am a Licensed Professional Counselor by trade...though this has changed over the past several years. I began taking intensive classes in Intuitive Healing and realized that I was seeing everyone's totem animals and spirit guides. It was at this time, I found out that my great-grandmother was Ho-Chunk (WI). I am certain now that she has been urging me to learn the sacred ways so that we will not forget our connection to everything and to bring ceremony back to my family (now extended to my larger "family"). I am grateful to her and to Spirit for their guidance. I am also grateful to my O.R. Shamanic teacher, Carla Person. My work now is with animals, people, and nature to bring healing through a connection with Spirit. I am fortunate to be able to bring lessons from three areas: Counseling, Medical Intuition, and Native American Shamanism.

C. MICHAEL SMITH, PhD Mikkal (C.Michael Smith) is a shamanic healer and Jungian psychologist in private practice. He teaches and conducts apprenticeship programs in shamanic psychotherapy and shamanic coaching at Crows Nest Wilderness Retreat Center in southwestern, Michigan, and runs an annual Vision Quest and Wounded Healer Summer School on S. Manitou Island, in Northern Lake Michigan. In addition to consulting services he performs long distance and on-site soul retrievals and extractions, and offers shamanic-Jungian counsulting. He is author of several books including, Jung And Shamanism In Dialogue [Trafford 2007].
